Program Participation Levels

Your school's participation can be custom-tailored from "Getting started" to "Full Participation." The latter includes planting of a Monarch Garden, participation in two teacher workshops, a relationship with a sister school in Mexico, and a joint project with them to protect or restore an area of the Monarch Biosphere Reserve in Mexico (a UNESCO World Heritage Site).

• Basic level – Resource Guide, "Monarchs and More" & Introductory Workshop
• Garden level – Creation of a Monarch Garden and "outdoor classroom"
• Sister Schools level – Partnership with a sister school in Mexico
• Eco-travel level – Tour of the Monarch Biosphere Reserve and sister schools
